Rick Waelti

Rick is a graduate of BCC, with an A.S. in Business Administration and a Minor in Music. He graduated University of Florida with a degree in accounting, and passed the CPA exam. While at the UF, he performed in the UF Jazz Band as Lead Alto Sax, touring Romania with the band in 1974 on a cultural exchange commission. He served as President of the Melbourne Junior Chamber of Commerce from 1984 - 1985 & President of the Florida Junior Chamber of Commerce from 1990 - 1991, presiding over 200 chapters statewide. Rick is currently CFO of Gator Environmental Sitework, LLC in Melbourne, FL. Rick volunteers for the Faith Fellowship Church music ministry as a sound tech. He is married to L.A. Waelti and has three kids: Rick, Jr., Ashley and Jerry.

Dan Walton

Dan has been a Scout Leader in the community since 1997, and currently serves as the Scoutmaster for the Troop 337 & Cubmaster for Pack 337.   Through the years he has served in roles in churches as worship leader, Sunday school teacher, and sound technician, as well as volunteered in a number of academic programs at local schools.   He works as a Satellite Software Engineer at Harris in Melbourne, where he received the top volunteer award across Harris Corp.  Dan, his wife Donna, and four boys (3 Eagles and one on the path) have lived in the community all of their lives.  Dan’s interests include family, fishing, worship music, audio systems, camping and of course Scouting.

Spiros Nifakos

Spiros Nifakos serves as a board member of Pass The Torch, Inc. as well as the Charter Organization Rep for BSA Troop and Pack 337. Spiros has been an active part of the Space Coast community since moving here in 2004. Prior to that, Spiros served in the US Navy as a Naval Flight Officer for 9 years. His military service was followed by his desire to be a part of local, small business and he now owns and serves as the President of Mega Technologies, Inc., a company that has been involved in the Melbourne area technology industry since 1996. In addition to his professional achievements, Spiros has served in several capacities in local churches, as coach of several teams, and as the Cub Master for BSA Pack 337 for over 6 years. Currently, Spiros serves as the Advancements Chairman for BSA Troop 337. Spiros is married to Jennifer Nifakos and they have two sons, Mark and Will.

Ryan Rogers

Ryan is married and father of three children. He has lived in Melbourne since 1970. Ryan is the current Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 337, & former Assistant Cubmaster of Pack 337. He is also Vice President and CFO of the Brevard Achievement Center, & former Board Member and President of the Melbourne & Indian River Special Gathering. He served as an Eau Gallie Little League assistance coach & held various leadership roles at the Tabernacle Church in Melbourne.

Dan McMillan

Dan and Kim have been in Scouting since 2006.   Dan is employed as a Software Engineer at Harris Corporation.  Dan is originally from West Virginia and has called Melbourne home for the last 15 years.  Dan and his wife Kim have four children; three sons named Connor, Zane, and Nathan and one daughter named Samantha.  Dan’s interests include family, soccer, football, little league, fishing, camping, golf, and Scouting.

Jack Ghiz

Jack Ghiz has resided in Brevard County since 1971.  He graduated Eau Gallie High School in 1985. Jack is married to Amy and has two children, Alisha, & Jesse, and two step daughters Melissa & Amanda. Jack was involved in Scouting throughout his youth years and was an active member with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts with his son Jesse. Jack has been with Faith Fellowship Church in Melbourne since 2007 and has Served in many capacities:  Usher, Sunday School teacher, Logistics Coordinator for Youth Camp program, Instructor of Bible-based Adult Classes, Sponsor to Mission projects, Choir, and many volunteer projects. Jack is also a sponsor of Eau Gallie High School Band & Sports. Jack Ghiz is the President of Jack Hammer Plus LLC. He employs 8 people and participates in many charitable events. Jack Hammer Plus offers reduced rates (or donates) services to those "in need" or who may be struggling through a family crisis - Our Goal is to Share God's Love. Jack joined the Board because he believes in Scouting and in raising our youth to be the leaders & role models of our ever-changing society through God's watchful eye.
