Help Us Help Others

Would you consider helping us help others in 2019? Only a few days left to send a tax-deductible donation in 2018!

All donations will go directly to the renovation and maintenance of our Facility on Post Road, which will be used to serve the community and to provide a much needed meeting location for the two Scouting organizations we charter: Boy Scout Troop 337, and Cub Scout Pack 337.

With the help of our Scouts & Families, Professionals Donating Time & Materials, and the Generous Donations from Families in our Community, we have nearly completed our Community Facility!

This is a shot of the front stage area with brand-new donated tables and chairs. Our Boy Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack are now having meetings in here! Everything is new… electrical, lighting, plumbing, sewage, roof, drywall, ceiling, and flooring!

A little over a year ago, this building was unusable. We took it down to the cement slab, outside cinder block, and rafters, and then re-designed and re-built it from the ground up!

From the Podium

This is a view from the podium looking back. Front door on the left. Two bathrooms on the left with a new (donated) water fountain in-between and a kitchen on the right.

Two Bathrooms

We built two handicap accessible bathrooms with donated tile, plumbing and fixtures!

Kitchen

We built a brand-new kitchenette to house a fridge, cabinets, utility sinks, and an ice machine. The tile was donated, as well as all of the fixtures. Note: Still under construction, excuse the mess.

Chair Closet

In order to facilitate various meetings, we built a small closet to hold tables and chairs for the main room.

Larry Walker

Larry Walker of Walker Plumbing Donated ALL materials and labor for re-doing all of the sewage, plumbing, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, and water fountain! We highly suggest using Walker Plumbing, click photo to go to website.

Harris Heart Foundation

Workers from Harris Corporation (many of which are with our organizations) donated labor to do most of the drywall installation in our main room.

Bruce Gust

A good friend to us, Bruce Gust and his family donated canopies, lanterns, and stoves to our Boy Scout Troop!

Although the re-build project is nearly complete, we have nearly depleted our funds, and are in need of charitable donations in order to complete the project, and in order to maintain the facility (power, water, taxes, grounds, upkeep). Please consider a donation, we promise 100% of it will go to straight to supporting our Scouting units, as well as serving the community!
