Six Bat Houses
- Designed and created by Eagle Candidate Jacob McCreary with the help of the Scout Workers, and generous donors.
“My project was to assemble 6 Bat Houses that have been placed within the property of Pass the Torch, Inc. The impact this project will have, is that it will reduce the number of mosquito populations in and around the property, while providing safe housing for up to 1800 bats.”
Jacob (pictured above), along with his fellow Boy Scout volunteers, worked over 130 hours on the project. He also raised over $680 for the project with a car wash, and donations.
