Dan Walton March 15, 2020 New Dock for the Florida Wildlife Hospital Dan Walton March 15, 2020 Eagle Scout Connor McMillan, with the help of his fellow Scouts & generous Donors, restored a lake at the Florida Wildlife Hospital, and built a dock,so they they could retrieve minnows to feed their recovering wildlife. “The Florida Wildlife Sanctuary uses the pond for water for animals as well as the minnows for animal food. They also use it as a release site for rehabilitated aquatic birds. The dock makes it easier for them to get to the water to collect minnows, collect water and release birds.” — Connor McMillan Eagle Scout Connor McMillan (pictured above) planned and executed the entire project. He, along with the help of his fellow scouts & leaders donated over 240 hours (90 of his own) to the project. Connor was able to raise over $1,200 for the project.
